the wedding...

Wow, Leslie and Hussam's wedding was totally beautiful. They did a great job putting it together and had everything planned to the tiniest detail. I was thrilled to be a part of it by kind of being the coordinator for the day of. I would like to say congratulations to them and thank them for letting me play a part in their happy day. It was the most beautiful event, all I can say is total and 100% ELEGANCE. Here are some pics before the guests started arriving. The centerpieces were made of a beautiful lantern with fruits. At each place setting were little palm trees with candies inside and a carved camel as well as a program with hand glued bling. The room was decorated with beautiful fabrics and pillows that Leslie made herself. When the lights were dimmed it was totally magnificent with soft lighting and candles everywhere. The cake was tiered with a water feature and real roses decorated the cake. A sword sat next to the cake which is what they cut the cake with. The only pictures I did not take where a picture of the bride and groom, or Breanna and me together. I am so bummed about that, I was just too busy making sure I got everything done that I was supposed to do. I am sure that I will be able to get those pics from Leslie though. Right Leslie!!!!

  2. Hey Yvonne,
I'm so glad you got to check out my latest post...I owe it all to you! Thank you - truly :) And I've had fun following your blog and the other two I "stalk" on my list. I'm eager to learn more, so I hope I get a chance to see you soon. I keep hoping to find my way to Griffins, but this time of year, it just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Is the a website I can go to learn more? I want to change my banner. Also, since I've got you - I have wonderful scrapbook software, but it's not working on my computer at the moment (long story) any digital scrapbooking advice you can offer??? I'm eager to see the "slice", but can't imagine I can afford it for now.
Miss you and hope I get to see you VERY soon. Oh and happy halloween - stop by and see us!!!!!!!!!
    Melle
