WW Update...

Yay!!! Still going down! Lost TWO more pounds this week.

WW=17 lbs.
January 1=23lbs!!!

Woo clothes are now getting baggy! I am so enjoying Weight Watchers!
The meeting had a light bulb moment for me that I have to share.
Ann (our leader) told the story of when she had just started loosing on the WW program and new she needed to kick it up a notch and add in exercise. She hated the thought, hmm I can so relate! Anyway...she would go out and walk this little course near her neighborhood. One day she was out walking and a little neighbor that tried to get out and walk (even though she had to use a walker) stopped her and said..."Do you know how lucky you are you can do this?" She went on to say how she wished she could still walk like that. It really gave her pause to thought. She started looking at it a whole different way. Thinking how lucky she was that she could walk. How it was a blessing and not something to dread. It was such an eyeopener for me. I will not look at exercise as a curse anymore. I will be glad and thankful that I can do what I can do. Anyway, had to share because it was truly a light bulb moment! Who knows...maybe it will help someone else with the exercise dreads as I USED to call them, lol.

  1. I'm really excited and happy for you! You are on such a roll and you haven't lost your positive attitude. You're not even tempted anymore, congrats on finding your niche!
    I love you and keep up the great work!

  2. I hated walking the dog twice a day until my neighbor yelled a Hello to me and added, "Enjoy your walk". It made me think, I can choose to enjoy. I began saying my prayers during the walks and now look forward to that quiet time so much. It has provided me with inspiration also. I do a lot of mini book planning or just enjoying what nature gives me that day. You never know what ripples you are making when you talk to people! I have begun a new mini called Enjoy Your Walk to put pics and thoughts in that I experience each day now that I enjoy my walk instead of dread it. You can CHOOSE whatever you want and thanks for your post - great reminder of our choices each day. Mary W
