Before and after...

Hey there.  My mom recently found these cute frames at a thrift store for me.  I loved them instantly. Thanks Mom!  Well, except for the pictures that came with them.  But I knew right away what I wanted to use them for.  I know they would be the perfect place for some of Teresa Collins new Sweet Afternoon line.
They came with cute vintage looking door knobs and I thought they would make the perfect additions to our bedroom.  Now, let me say our bedroom is the last room in the house that is getting the attention it needs.  I have a long shelf with blank picture frames that still need to be filled as you can see in the picture below.
I am going for that shabby feel in the bedroom.  Luckily my husband doesn't care.  He says as long as I like it he will love it.  I am very thankful for that, wink.  He even built me the headboard out of vintage shutters.  I will try and get a picture of that later.  Any way,  I needed something to put on each side of the bed.  I wanted somewhere were I could hang my necklaces and he could hang his stuff.  Perfect solution!  On my side there is pink included.  On his side it will be all taupe, white and blue.  (I won't push the pink)
I loved doing this little home decor project.  I am still working on the one for hubbies side of the bed, but he said he liked the way mine turned out!  I hope next time I will have those picture frames filled with family pictures.  Wish me luck, wink.  Hope you enjoy.  Off to play with some more Sweet Afternoon!  TTFN

  1. What a beautiful idea. I think I am going to do something similar in my daughter's room. Thanks!
