Tattered Floral Challenge from Tim Holtz

Okay, here is my take on Tim's Tattered Floral Die cut challenge.
I used Grunge Paper and adhered Tim's Decorative Tissue Paper using Studio Matte Medium.
I then layered two coats of Broken China Distress Stain to the tissue.  I ran it through my Vagabond, then formed them and attached them with a gem brad.  I let that dry, well I used the heat it tool because I have no patience, wink.  The "wet" drops are dried glossy accents.  Either looking like rain hitting the petals or polka dots, wink.  I used Peeled Paint, Broken China and Walnut Stain Distress ink to ink up the tag.
Flicked some water (my absolute FAVE technique from Tim) and hit it with the heat it tool again.
The butterflies are more tissue paper but adhered to Wendy Vecchi's Clearly for Art Paper. Love this stuff (thanks Hels for the new addiction, wink).  The paper is something that you heat and then can form it into shapes you like.  The great thing is if you don't like it heat it over and try again. As many times as you like!
It really really makes the butterflies dimensional.  Like the fluttering around on the tag.

This was fun to do this challenge.
Thanks Tim for constantly inspiring and challenging us to create art!
This weekend has been a very inky one for me.  Loved just playing in the studio, getting inky and being able to create some fun stuff.  I think I might just frame this little piece.  HEHEHEHE.
