Be open to the Beauty...

I found this picture of Bre that I had never scrapped.  It was a day we had taken a trip with my BFF Nita and her two girls to a little town, Micanopy, to antique.  There are so many fabulous spots there for photos.
We had stopped so the girls could rest and I looked over and Bre had sat down and was watching the girls play.  I remember it like yesterday.  She was 12 in this picture.  Now she is almost 18 and graduating High School in SEVEN short weeks.  She looks so little to me here.  So very young. I wanted to really take some time with this layout and really let the picture speak.

She has always been a "soulful" child.  One that seemed wiser beyond her years.
This picture is so very special to me.  A moment caught in time.  A memory that will remain with me forever.
Now it has it's home.
I hope she is always open the the beauty around her. That is what I wanted to convey to her.

I hope you enjoy the layout and maybe have been inspired to preserve some of your own memories!
Happy scrapbooking.
