Simon Says Stamp and Show...

Finally, I can play along with the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge again!!!
I love these challenges as they give me time to get inky
and I have had other things going on and no time to play.
This weeks challenge is Passport to Fun.
Paris is somewhere I dream of visiting. It is on my bucket list.
I was so excited when Tim came out with the Eiffel Tower Die.
Had to get it as soon as it hit the shelf, hehehe.
So here is my take on the Passport to Fun challenge.  I used Tim's Blueprint compass stamp (love), Eiffel Tower and Postage Stamp Die, Idea-ology Rubbings, tickets, gem clips, crinkle ribbon, baubles (sadly these are discontinued, if you find them grab them!), jump rings and the tiny attacher.
I used Distress Inks-Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain.
The Eiffel Tower was cut out of chipboard, inked with Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo.
Then embossed with clear embossing powder.  Love the effect.
Here is a few of the products I used to create this tag.
Don't you just love those blueprint stamps??? I can't get enough of them.
So pretty, it can just sit on a shelf.
Hope you enjoyed my take on the Passport to Fun challenge for Simon Says Stamp and Show.  You should see what their design team created!  Lots and lots of inspiration.

  1. A gorgeous tag Yvonne! Well done!

  2. Yvonne...your Parisian tag is gorgeous! I love all of the different elements you've pulled together to create such a lovely tag. The colors are yummy. I love your Eiffel Tower. I'm like you...I love the effect that clear embossing powder gives over something inked and with a little dimension. Well done, girlfriend! Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. And....thanks so much for the very sweet comment you left on my blog! If y'all want to makeover manila folders at CHA...I'm in! :) You'd just have to take them home to sew them up. :) <3 Candy

  3. HEY!!! Your monochromatic Parisian tag is a dream! I love it, and all the elements and layers you've added! What a beauty! Thank you for traveling with us this week here at Simon Says Stamp & Show!
