I spent National Scrapbook day at She Scrapbooks. We hosted a 12 hour crop.
I really enjoyed the ladies that attended. I even did a make and take necklace with them.
Didn't take a picture of that, boo.
Throughout the day I had a bit of a chance to have some inky fun.
One of my goals was to "create" my trinket box to store all my Idea-ology.
I had three different shoe boxes type things full of unopened packages and I really needed to get that stuff opened up so I would use it and stop hoarding it, wink.
So I decided to have a box where I can just dig for goodness. I did keep the little things like jump rings, brads and other small pieces in zip locks or little tins.
I love this box. It is my happy box now. LOL.
After plundering through all the idea-ology I was able to create a couple of tags.
I gave away one and forgot to take a picture, ugh...but I did snap a picture of this one.
This one just exudes happiness to me. Love love love Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.
It is definitely my HAPPY pink! Then blended a little Ripe Persimmon and Vintage photo.
The butterflies were stamped on the tag and then stamped on Clearly for Art and cut out and molded.
Ah...my new addiction! Love that stuff. I must get more. I only have two sheets left, ack.
Used some of Tim's new Rubs...love those as well, and some random Idea-ology pieces.
Another one of Tim's brilliant sentiments. He has the best sentiment stamps. I think I have them all, well almost. There are a couple classics the elude me, hehehe.
I think I have already found my word for next year. "Soar" it is really speaking to me.
Hmmm....something to think about!
Hope however you spent your National Scrapbook Day was fun, creative and inspiring.
Have a great week!
