Compendium Of Curiosities III Challenge!!!

It's finally here!
Our first Challenge in the CCIII Challenge
I am so honored and really, still pinching myself, that I was asked by the fabulous Miss Linda Ledbetter to participate!  She hosted the challenges for the first two books and decided to invite a few to play along! Oh...I could not turn down the chance to have a reason to get inky!
Our first challenge was from page 43 (Distress Paint Marbling Technique)
If you don't have your book yet you can get a signed copy from Tim himself.
I'm positively sure Mario will get it in the mail straight away!
Just click here
What are you waiting for? You need to have it to play along!

Here is what I came up with.
I used an 8x8 canvas and cut a piece of Ranger's Manila Cardstock (cut down to 8x8 of course).
I then used Tim's technique to create this background.
He is such a genius!
I also used the same technique on a large tag so I could stamp the butterflies to cut out.
Yes, I am a fussy cutter, wink.
Below are a few close-ups. I will list all the supplies used at the bottom of the post.

Check out what the others did with the challenge here.
Make sure you visit each of the Curiosity Crew's blogs and leave them some love!
You will love what you see and I think you will be totally inspired!!!

Tim and Mario have gone off the charts with  a GINORMOUS box of prizes they sent to award as prizes for participants! They are so generous and will be watching the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge blog to see what you come up with! It is easy peasy to share your work!
