CC3Challenge #2...

Wow!
First I want to say THANK YOU so much for the warm welcome and the lovely comments I have received! It is such an honor to be in the company of these other girls I cannot even begin to explain the giddiness I feel! Not only that but being able to share my passion with so many that "get" it is a huge feeling of joy! So again, thank you all so much.  You truly have made my heart so happy!
So as you probable know by now the second challenge is using Distress Glitter.
It is on page 56 of the Compendium of Curiosities III.
Visit the CC3Challenge blog here.
And if you have been under a rock somewhere or just busy, wink, you can still get a signed CC3 here from Tim and Mario...Mario will get it in the mail asap! And you really need to get it in order to play along! And why would you not want to play along...you would have one more great reason to get inky! Win!!!!

Here is my little creation.
I have been hoarding the Tim's Clock since it first came out.
I was almost afraid to use...didn't want to mess it up.
Anyway I decided what the heck...no time is better then now.
With my absolute LOVE of butterflies they usually always make an appearance in my work.
(fair warning, hehehe)
This is no different.
They just make me happy.
This one really does because it's all sparkly with Distress Glitter!
I covered the clock with Tim's Tissue paper and then painted it with Distress Paint.
(I used Matte Medium to adhere it to the clock)
I really like that you get crinkles and wrinkles as it adheres down.

Next, I inked all the material with a combination of these Distress Inks-Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Gathered Twigs.  I typed on the tag after inking using my typewriter.
I then stamped the butterfly image I wanted and used Tim's technique from page 56 to "bling" out said butterfly. After putting it all together I then used Distress Glitter Rock Candy over the outside of the clock...it's hard to see in pictures but it is there.
Here is the finished clock..now this makes my heart happy!
I really hope that you have been inspired and have gotten to all the other Curiosity Crew's blogs.
They continue to blow me away with their creations!!!
This week our sponsor is The Funkie Junkie
Don't forget to leave a comment on each of the Crew's blogs to be eligible for prizes.
And also a HUGE thank you to Tim and Mario for donating a ton of prizes to be given away as well!
Until next week...
