Craftwell/Xryon Summer Blog Hop!

Hey there blog hoppers!
So very excited to be part of Craftwell and Xyron's Summer Fun Blog Hop!
I am sure you will love all the inspiration you find on the hop.
Make sure to follow the directions as stated on the Craftwell Blog so you will have a chance to win!

My little project is a home decor piece.
I love making things for my home.
It is one of my favorite things to do, I really love to be able to
make my home unique and showcase my families personalities.
This piece I made to have on my desk.
It is where I sit and do all the paperwork for our household.
I love to have pretty things around me and things that have meaning.
This is in an 8x10 frame from Ikea.

Okay...so here are the very simple easy peasy instructions.
First, run a piece of brown cardstock through you eBosser using the Teresa Collins Woodgrain embossing folder.
I used a little bit of Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to highlight the grains in the wood.
Love that.
Next, I punched some butterflies with my Fiskars butterfly punch and put them through this sticker maker! Oh does this make things easy! I used three butterflies for each one to give them a dimensional look.
Once you run them through take your fingernail or stylist and rub over them before you remove the plastic trash from the sticker maker. This will remove excess adhesive.
Then take three butterflies. Fold two of them in half glitter side on the inside.
Adhere those (one wing each) to the backside of the whole butterfly.  You will then be able to adhere that cluster to your project.  Repeat two more times.
I painted Teresa Collins Urban Market Wood pieces using Adirondack Gold Dabber Paint.
Love me some gold! and metallic!
Once they dried I used Xyron's glue stick to adhere them to the matte from my picture frame.

Then all you have to do is put the frame back together.
There you have it...a really fun, original and glitzy piece of home decor!!!

Some close-ups for you to be able to see what dimension you get from the eBosser.
It is fabulous! It embossed crisp, clean and deep details!
I love to be able to create with this fabulous machine!!!
I am waiting (impatiently for my new CutnBoss) to be delivered.
HSN still has some available I do believe!

Okay...So on to the next one! Hope you have lots of fun hopping around!
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
