CC3C 8!!!

Welcome back.
Another fun Saturday of the next Compendium of Curiosities Challenge.
We are doing Faded Layers which can be found on page 58 of Tim's Compendium Of Curiosities III Book.  You still have time to get one here if you don't have one as we have many more challenges to go!
I tell you the Curiosity Crew is really inspiring me.
I love to see how each challenge brings totally different creations.
AND then you add in all the girls playing along and sharing with us...OH MY!
It is total inspiration overload.
I love looking at all the creations and all the unique ways in which everyone does the same techniques.
It almost boggles my mind!
So here is my Faded Layers piece.
I have noticed that whatever the challenge is I seem to stay kind of monochromatic.
Hmmm...I think that not only is this challenge stretching our creative play but it also gives us the chance to discover things we might not have even noticed about ourselves before. Just a thought.

I also cannot seem to stay away from the butterflies.
They are my go to.
Maybe next week I will have to add in the challenge to NOT use a butterfly in my creation, wink.
Well...no promises...hehehe.

I also want to send out a thank you to Tim and Mario for the prizes they donated to help make these challenges just a little more fun.  They totally rocked that!

And a huge thank you to our generous sponsor The Funkie Junkie
They have donated a gift certificate for the winner of this weeks challenge.
Please make sure to read the rules and follow along to be eligible for the prizes!
You can find those here

And please make sure to visit all the crew's blogs!
I said it before and I say it again....they continue to blow me away with their creations.
I love Saturday mornings of the Challenge...if I am not at work, I am scrolling the Curiosity Crew's blogs!

Thanks so much for all the lovely comments! I LOVE reading them.
You have no idea how much they mean to me.
Hope to see you next time!

  7. Yvonne...this is such a lovely tag. It's so YOU and so beautifully done. I love the butterflies fluttering upwards. Always, onwards and upwards! :) Your faded layers background is so pretty, too. How did I know you would use pink? :) I love your design and your addition of that sentiment. One of my favorites! The little frame is such a neat dimensional little addition to your frame and the pen nib body on that butterfly is perfect for that framed piece. <3 Candy

  21. I love this... the colors... this background is amazing; the message and those oh so cute butterflies! You are so right these challenges do show us so many things about ourselves! I was just thinking as I was finishing my comments on Marje project ... I leave comments as if I was criticing the designers work ( that's not my intent) I just like observing all the details and it feels good to be "able" to notice details ( if that makes sense) and I like how the details make me feel ...
