Card for encouragement...

Hi everyone!
Today I have a card for you.
I have a friend who needs a little bit of encouragement so I thought I would share
what I came up with.  I always find it challenging to create something with a more serious side.
This card represents a new day...sunshine will always return.
Butterflies go through changes to become who they are meant to be and we always need
to listen to our inner voices.  Usually that little voice has lots of wisdom to share, wink.
I hope she will find this card to be up-lifting.
I started off with a blank piece of tag and inked it with Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry. After inking it all up I used Tim's stencil to create the rays by inking Ripe Persimmon over it again. I absolutely love this effect!
This sentiment has always spoken to me...I think it can apply to lots of different things.
It was stamped with Black Archival
I then inked some Manilla cardstock with the same colors and cut Tim's Butterflies die
Gathered Twigs was edged on all of them to help them stand out.
After adhering them all down I used Stardust Stickles to bling them up!
The Crinkle ribbon was colored with Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon Distress ink.
If you haven't done this before...spread a bit of Distress Inks in your chosen colors on your non stick craft sheet from Ranger. Spritz it with a bit of water and wipe the ribbon in it.
After drying I like to add a bit of Gathered Twigs (or your favorite brown) to give it a more vintage feel.

So there you have it...a card you could can give with a message of comfort and inspiration.
Hope you enjoyed.
