Holiday tag love...

Hello everyone...
Can you believe the holidays are upon us?
I am having trouble with it...just not ready!
But I think if I keep creating stuff that lends itself to the holidays,
it might just help.
So I started creating some gift tags.
I like to put handmade tags with our gifts...just makes it a little more personal, right?
One of my very favorites of Tim's Dies is his Tattered Poinsettia...I LOVE this die and still can't get enough of it.  The poinsettias come out gorgeous...you just can't mess it up!

Okay...so I embossed a large tag with wood grain texture fade and then used Gathered Twigs Distress Ink to cover the surface.  I love how it creates different shades because of the embossing.

I had already cut the Tattered poinsettia out of Tag material so they were ready to ink with Fired Brick and Festive Berries Distress Ink. The edging is Gathered Twigs....this is my go to personal favorite brown.  After that was all done ink a script stamp with Fired brick and stamp it randomly over all the poinsettia leaves.  I also saved back one of the large size of Poinsettia to create the green leaves, they were colored with Peeled Paint
Then all you need is a little holiday greeting.  The W I S H is cut out of Tim's Word Play die
Tied a piece of Tulle at the top and there you have it! A finished gift tag.
Other supplies used-Non stick craft sheet, ink blending tool.
I hope you you will stop by again.
