CC3Challenge #26

This weeks challenge is found on page 42 of Compendium of Curiosities Vol. III.
Smudge Stamping.
Who new? Tim...that's who!
Pretty cool technique...one I found that I really like!
I absolutely know I will be using this one again, wink.
You still have time to get the book if you need it.
You can order it from Tim and Mario and you would get the autographed version!
Let's take a minute and thank our sponsors, The Funkie Junkie who has donated a generous gift certificate and of course Tim and Mario who donated a ton of cool supplies to be awarded as prizes!
All you have to do is follow the rules listed here...easy peasy!

This week it had to be quick and easy for me.
I am on the run literally, wink.
I needed to add some cards to my emergency stash so I went with a card.
I really can't say much as the technique is pretty much the whole background of the card.
But, if you own the book all you have to do is turn to page 42 and you will find the magic! hehehe.

I did dye some seam binding.  LOVE doing that.
Not only do my fingers get all inky, but I can customize the ribbon to the color I need.
How fun is that!

I sure hope you enjoy this weeks challenge and find some time yourselves to get your creative on!
I know all of us on the Curiosity Crew can't wait to hop around and see your magic!
Don't forget to visit the Curiosity Crew's blogs and leave them some love.
I can't wait to see what they did either, wink.
Have a great week and hope to see you back here next time!
Thank you for all the lovely comments...you girls are the sweetest and I love reading your comments!

  12. Beautiful card, Yvonne! The smudgy goodness of that butterfly in the background, along with the smudginess of the words just lends a subtle blurred look, almost. The technique really softens the overall feel and is so pretty :) Fab card for your emergency stash :) XOXO-Shari
