Can you believe it is our last Compendium of Curiosities Challenge for Tim's third installment of his fabulous book? It has been such an honor to be a part of this fabulous "crew" of women.
It has been so fun to get to know some of you and see all the wonderful art that ALL of you have created! It's been a heck of a journey. I have gained so much insight as I have traveled this creative road with the Curiosity Crew and all of you, tried things I wouldn't normally try, found new ways to create that I love, and discovered things about my creative process I hadn't noticed before.
I want to thank Linda for asking me to be a part of this journey, part of a sisterhood of women who I have a profound respect and love for and part of an amazing artful journey that has brought new friends into my life that have a love of this art too!
Thank you all for embracing me and my art and leaving such kind, sweet comments.
This artsy world is pretty amazing!
So here we are, our last challenge for CC3.
(however we do have some fun things planned to continue our journey together!)
Let's take a moment and thank Tim and Mario!
They donated a ton of goodies to be given aways to make this journey even more fun!
Thank you Tim for creating these Compendium of Curiosities Books.
You have inspired so many and helped us all discover new and fabulous ways to create!
for sponsoring with generous gift certificates, I hope that you will continue to support them.
They are both family run stores that truly care about their customers.
So, has anyone guessed what the challenge is?
It is Layering Stencil Monoprint found of page 48.
Truly this is one of my favorites. Love the way it works and the end result!
I couldn't not use butterflies in this last challenge, wink.
I also have a number 3 in there, hehehe.
Can you see it?
Fussy cutting is therapy for me. It truly allows me to zone out and just be.
Maybe it's weird or even a bit quirky, wink, but I love it!
I think Susan gets it too...she is another fussy cutter!
While I can't give aways the technique, I can tell you I used
Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks.
Pink and Orange are two of my favorite colors together...they just make me totally giddy.
Do you have colors like that?
If you haven't visited the rest of the Curiosity Crew what are you waiting for?
I absolutely love seeing the different pieces of art...it's amazing how different we create using the same techniques. That's part of the fun for sure!
Okay...don't forget to follow the rules to be entered for a chance to win.
You can find them here.
Now, just a bit of a teaser, hehehe.
