Cards with art girl Lynne Forsythe.

Hi Yvonne Blair Designs Fans!!
Lynne Forsythe here....

Back in January I had been playing around
with Ken Oliver's Color Burst

and The Crafter's Workshop stencils.

I used various types of paper and watercolor paper
to see how the Color Burst would respond!!

OH THE FUN I HAD!

.....and I finally figured out what to do with a few of the
BEAUTIFUL "colored" papers......CARDS!

Here is my first card....
I adhered the "colored" paper
to a Canvas Corp Brands ~ Greeting Card ~ Kraft.

I colored a piece of chipboard and the edges
of the Petaloo ~ Darjeeling bloom with
Color Burst ~ Earthtones
to match the "colored paper".

A bit of burlap, cheese cloth and yes a piece of wire mesh.
(it's stapled to the card)

I finished off my card with one of MY FAVORITE

stamped onto a piece of CCB ~ Tissuestock,
I love this look!!

Onto my second card.....
once again I adhered my "colored" paper to a
CCB ~ Greeting Card ~ Ivory.

I pulled out another of

Then I faced one of my greatest scrapping "fears"
....stamping direct to a creation
and it was an epic fail!
So, I decided to stamp randomly on the "colored" paper
(as a cover up)

TIME FOR A NEW INK PAD.....I think!
...but I have grown to like it!

I chose some bright colored
Botanica and Vintage Velvet ~ Petaloo blooms
to match my "colored" paper.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards and
FANTABULOUS STAMPS!!
