Thank you Lynne!

Hello Yvonne Blair Design Fans....
Can you believe it is August already???
Where has the summer gone?

I had a hankering to make up some flowers,
so I pulled out some of my steel ruled dies
and my yardage of Buckram
(which is ooooh ssssoooo FUN to work with)
....and let the cutting begin.

I began each of my 3 flowers in the same fashion....
I spritzed the buckram with water.
I also created a puddle of water to mix my paint with.

I pulled out some of my paints and let the coloring begin!

I love that when these paints dry, you can rehydrate
the flower and paint on another color.

Next, I pulled out some burlap, cut it to size
and applied a layer of Multi Medium to the back side.

When dry, I cut out some ivy leaves
and painted them.

Next, I pulled out one of my 'TOVERS!
A large Kraft Tag that had various layers of
sundry products on it!

Next, I went to my "twig" collection and pulled out a few!
When I had them placed how I wanted them,
I tied the twigs together with jute and
stapled them to my tag.

Lastly, I stamped on a piece of Tissuestock

ps....I spy another Yvonne Blair Designs stamp
do you??
It is from the Everyday Quotes 1 stamp set.

When everything was dry....
I put my tag together.
Here are a few closeups.

Do you see the seed beads I mixed with Multi Medium??

 Hope you enjoyed my hankerin'!!!

THANKS for stoppin' by!
