Hope anchors...Lynne Forsythe

What a powerful message on a gorgeous backdrop!
Thanks Lynne...you always amaze me with your creations and the texture they hold.

Due to Family health issues
I've had A LOT of STRESS ENERGY....
what do i do....I CREATE!!

.....and I just happened to get a new box of goodies from
USArtQuest....Just what I NEEDED1

As I was unfamiliar with most of the products I had ordered
this was a perfect time for me to EXPERIMENT.

I pulled out a tag made from Kraft Paper
and and a Wheelie Mask.
I then took out a jar of
Heavy Artist Cement
and applied it through the Mask.

I got distracted by a phone call,
so the Heavy Artist Cement dried
a little bit more than I would have liked
but I figured I'd try to work with it anyways.
So, I sprinkled the stenciled image with
Prills ~ Mini Pearls
and pressed them in, for good measure.
Then I had the idea, maybe if I applied a layer of
Paper Perfect Adhesive ~ Matte
it would seal the Prills.
IT WORKED!!

When dry, I spritzed the tag with various
Glimmer Mist colors.

I looked around on my craft table and
I had a few 'TOVER flowers
that had already been colored from another project...

Next, I diecut a Leafy Branch
and covered it with
Heavy Artist Cement
and Prills ~ Lettuce Entertain You.

Can I say.....when I was looking for a
Yvonne Blair/Impression Obsession stamp
to use....

This one stood out....and spoke the loudest!
What I REALLY NEEDED to hear during this time!

There you have it....
MY EXPERIMENT....
I know it sure kept me from going crazy
I sure hope you enjoyed it!

  1. I love your pretty tag" what a lot of funny new stuff you played with. And achieved a stunning result. Fabulous colors and gorgeous texture. Great idea to seal the prills / micro beads after adding them to the artist cement.
Thank you so much for sharing your awesome art.
