You make me smile-Lynne Forsythe!

Okay...working on wood or the unexpected is one of my favorite things to do and Lynne just made my heart sing with her creation!!! SO beautiful and what a "WOW" piece to have in your home!
Thank you Lynne...you NEVER cease to amaze me! wink.

I don't know about your part of the world
but in mine.....
The sun is shining and Spring is HERE!

For my project this week
I created a chunky ATC
which 5" tall cut from a 2 x 4.

I began by painting the wood with
White Gesso and wiping it back with a baby wipe.

I then spritzed my ATC with a bit of Glimmer Mist
and wiped it back with a baby wipe.
I repeated the process until I was happy.

I had been experimenting with Gelatos and created a
half sheet of "paper".
Then I cut the paper up into 3/4" squares
and adhered them to my ATC.

I covered the entire ATC with Clear Gesso.
(oops I missed a photo)
I applied Light and Fluffy texture medium
through a stencil onto my ATC.
When dry I spritzed with Glimmer Mist and
wiped back with a baby wipe

I pulled out a chippie, spritzed with Mist.
Then I applied a few Prills.
When dry I painted on a bit of glam.

I stapled on a bit of paper mesh,
chicken wire and wire mesh.

....I finished it off with a stamped image from
Yvonne Blair Designs/Impression Obsession

Here are a few closeups

I hope you enjoyed my creative journey.....
